Medal Mounting since 1978 (UK), ex Royal Air Force. Professional Medal Mounting in New Zealand for civillians since 1982 Professional Medal Mounting for NZDF personnel and civilians since1993 Professional Medal Mounting for the “National Army Museum, NZ Military personnel and Civilians since 2001.
Have mounted all types of United Kingdom and New Zealand Orders, Decorations, Campaign, Coronation and Jubilee, Service and Foreign Medals awarded to New Zealand and Commonwealth military and civilian individuals, including 9 Victoria Cross’s, (including Captain C. H. Upham’s VC & Bar , 2 George Cross’s and many other premier decorations (including the initial mounting of the “Victoria Cross” for NZ and other campaign medals of Corpol “Willi” Apiata VC NZSAS and medals from all periods of time of the British Empire and Commonwealth to date.
Fully conversant with the current Military and Civilian, “Orders of Wear” and the Civilian and Military Regulations that appertain to “Orders, Decorations and Medals including those of the Order of St John the NZ Fire Service, NZ Police, Prison Service and NZ Customs Department.
